Kerry Youngblood, 46 of Hanover Twp., passed away Thursday evening, July 9, 2020 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains, Township.

Born in Plains, she was the daughter of Noell (Barbacci) Searfoss and Clarence Searfoss of White Haven and the late James Dalessandro.

Kerry was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1991, and King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1995. She was employed as a teacher at Kings and St. Mary’s Developmental Day Care Center, Wilkes-Barre, and currently as a pharmacy technician and store clerk at CVS.

Kerry was a faithful member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Wilkes-Barre, where she was a CCD teacher and was involved in the confirmation class. She was an active member of the Hanover Township Mini Hawks and the Hanover PTA.

Kerry was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her mother Noell and step-father Clarence are her husband of 21 years, William Youngblood, daughters, twins Madeline and Macey Youngblood and Olivia Youngblood, all of Hanover Township, brothers James Dalessandro and his significant other Lindsay, Tannersville, and Mark Dalessandro and his wife Juliana, MA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish/St. Aloysius Church, 143 W. Division Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18706, with Father Richard J. Cirba, Pastor, officiating. Private interment will be held in the Italian Independent Cemetery, West Wyoming. Due to the ongoing pandemic, restrictions have been put in place by the CDC and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Those attending the Funeral Mass, please follow the practice of social distancing and masks are required. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.

Memorial donations if desired may be made to The American Red Cross, 256 N Sherman St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 in Kerry’s memory.
