Pryor, 71, of Jenkins Township, passed away peacefully Friday morning, September 28, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Donald C. and Anne (Larkin) Pryor, Sr. Kenny was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, class of 1965, and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War Era, serving as an M.P. Kenny started working at Offset Paperback as a pressman. Over the course of 40 years, Kenny worked his way up to the position of Director of Sheetfed Operations & Technical Service Consultant becoming an expert in his field. Kenny will fondly be remembered as a loving husband and caring father and grandfather. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed watching sports, spending sunny days on a deck, and was always quick with a joke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Donald C. Pryor, Jr. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, the former Mary Jo Spagnola, Jenkins Township, children Kelly Pryor and her husband Gregg Mauriello, Hillsborough, NJ, Kenny Pryor and his wife Betty, Stoneham, MA, Kevin Pryor and his wife Kelly, Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre, Patrick Pryor, Stoneham, MA, Katie Pryor-Rome and her husband Vinnie, Walkersville, MD, & Michael Pryor and his wife Meghan Bodajla, West Chester, grandchildren Emily and Ethan Mauriello, Mae and Ryan Pryor, Jack and Leah Pryor, Vinnie and Maggie Rome, and a niece & nephew, and sister-in-law Lorraine Pryor, Wilkes-Barre. A celebration of Kenny’s life will he held Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA, 18705. Family and friends may call Thursday from 4:00 until the time of service at the funeral home to pay their respects. Kenny’s family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to the professionals who offered both expert and loving care, specifically Megan (Hospice), Dr. Doddamani and Angela from Geisinger at Home and Libby and Angie from Geisinger Home Health. The above individuals offered unending peace and comfort to Kenny and Mary Jo.
