Ken J. Harper, 53, of Exeter passed away Thursday morning in the impatient unit of Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Waterbury, Connecticut, he was the son of Robert and Barbara Kennedy Harper of Naugatuck, Connecticut.

Ken was a dedicated Chef for Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital for 17 years;  and was also a Navy Veteran and a member of the Moose Lodge of West Pittston.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his life partner, Denise Swainbank, Exeter; Daughters; Danielle Harper and Kendra August of Exeter and Kristen Favata and her Husband David, West Wyoming; Grandchildren, David Favata and Aiden August; Brother, Robert Harper II, Pittsburg.

Funeral services for Ken will be held Monday at 7:00 pm from the Corcoran Funeral Home Inc. 20 South Main Street Plains, PA  18705.

Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7 pm at the Funeral Home.
