Kenneth D. Jones, 76 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday evening, June 9, 2021 at Residential Hospice, Geisinger South, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Hubert and Josephine (Motta) Jones.

Kenneth was a graduate of Wyoming Seminary, Class of 1962, Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and earned his Law Degree from Dickinson Law, Carlisle. Ken was Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Wilkes-Barre Township American Legion, Post 815, and was active in Veteran Affairs. Ken would often volunteer his free time at the VA Medical Center, Plains and would help fellow veterans obtain their benefits.

Surviving are his daughter Jennifer Malouf and her husband Scott, granddaughter Cerys Malouf, all of Pittsford, NY, brother Hubert Jones, Wilkes-Barre, 1 niece, 2 great-nieces, cousins.

Graveside services for Kenneth will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, PA 18705.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Kenneth’s name.
