Juliann R. Loftus, 61, of the Miners Mills sections of Wilkes-Barre, died Friday evening, June 23, 2017, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital with her family by her side.

Born in Plains, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Pauline (Skordenski) Zurek.

Juliann was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Class of 1973, and attended Luzerne County Community College and the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Triangle Club, Miners Mills.

Surviving are her Husband Raymond Swartwood, Daughter, Alissa Eddowes and her husband Gregory, Bear Creek, Twp., grandson Frederick Shaffer IV, Brothers Stanley and David Zurek and Sisters Sandy Pentz and Daria Fitz, Nephews and Nieces.

Funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
