Obituaries » Julia “Jean” Miscavage October 18, 2014 Julia “Jean” Miscavage, 84, of Plains Township, passed away Thursday morning, October 16, 2014, at Little Flower Manor, Wilkes-Barre. Born in the Georgetown section of Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Kish) Butchko. Jean was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School, and was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church Plains. Jean worked as a cashier for the Plains Meat Market for many years until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Anna, Mary, Margaret, Helen, and Martha, brothers Michael and John Butchko. Surviving are her Daughter; Diane Pudleiner and her husband Gary, Allentown; Son, Joseph Miscavage Jr. Miners Mills; grandchildren Jason Pudleiner, Crystal Garrett and her husband Robert, Jake and Nick Miscavage, great-grandchildren Emma, Alexandria, and Brooke Garrett, Sister Elizabeth Zbegner, Plains; 7 Grandchildren, Nephews and Nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 10:00 am in SS. Peter & Paul Church Plains with Father John Boyle, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Byzantine Cemetery, Plains. Family and friends may call at the church from 9:00 am until the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Memorial donations if desired may be made to SS. Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road Plains, Pa. 18705, or to Little Flower Manor 200 Meade Street Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 in Jean’s memory.Julia “Jean” Miscavage
