Krulack, 80 of Plains Township, passed away Sunday evening, July 21, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA. Born on April 27, 1944 in Plains, PA, he was the son of the late John and Catherine (Bugay) Krulack. Joe was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Plains, Class of 1962 and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in Washington State, Alaska, and Norway. Upon his honorable discharge from active service in 1965, he was employed at PPL for 44 years, retiring in 2010. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, North Wilkes-Barre, until it closure and currently a member of Saints Peter & Paul Church, Plains, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 163, and was a member of the North End Catholic Elementary School Athletic Department. Joe was also an avid Penn State Football and Philadelphia Phillies Fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant grandson Daniel Krulack, and his brothers John, Norman, and Edward Krulack. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Florence (Gola) Krulack, Plains, children Joseph Krulack and his wife Heather, Belleville, MI, Paul Krulack and his wife Kristen, West Pittston, Thomas Krulack and his wife Megan, Kingston, and Kathryn Kulick and her husband Jeffrey, Pittston Twp., grandchildren Madelyn Krulack, Lily Krulack, Grace and Lucille Kulick, and Christian Kwaitek, brother Charles Krulack, Plains, many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 9:30 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. A live stream of the funeral mass will be on the parish FACEBOOK page. Interment with Military Honors accorded by the United States Army will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton section of Wyoming. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
