To the family of Mr. Joe Lini, Joe and I worked for the same company which was the Wilkes Barre Data Operations Center better known as the Social Security Building.....I worked there for 32 years. Joe Lini was finishing out his retirement paycheck by adding extra hours and working for the federal government. All of the guards most over the age of 62 were. Making that last bit of money for their family, and retirement. I'm missing him and many others #1 because he was a soldier at a point in his life and as a upper level manager with the organization; we honored our men and women who went to war for us. It was my privilege to work with your (father, grandfather) he was a great man and friend to many. I also shared the love of military with your father/grandfather. I'm not a veteran, but I support all veterans in all wars and I honored him at the Italian American Veterans cemetary whenever there was a funeral for veteran your father was there carrying out the military honors. To the family I just wanted you to know.....and I know that you already know this that your father was one of the best. So very sorry for your loss.
