I was a student of Mr. Lepore's at Kingston High School from 1963-1966. He taught me French and was a great teacher. He was a class individual, a dignified disciplinarian but kind, respectful and considerate. He never raised his voice but diplomatically managed his class rooms and home rooms. Everyone paid attention. He was very enthusiastic about his subject matter and education. The last time I saw Mr. Lepore he was working the ticket booth at a WVW football game, probably 40 years ago It was great to see him. My son is a teacher in Chicago and I hope some day he will be as good as Mr. Lepore. My wife is also a teacher, and I think she is at Mr. Lepore's teaching level, although she does not teach languages. I want to wish Mrs. Lepore and Mr. Lepore's extended family our sympathies. My wife and I will remember Mr. Lepore and his family in our prayers. The world needs more people and teachers like Mr. Lepore!
