Joseph “Joe” Charles Magdelinskas, Jr. passed on November 9, 2014. Beloved father of Michael John Magdelinskas and Leigh Olivia Magdelinskas. Brother to Marie Baronick(Gary). He was greeted in heaven by his late parents, Joseph, Sr. and Marguerite Magdelinskas.

He enjoyed attending yearly STPR Car Rallies in Wellsboro, PA. He was a teacher for 20 years with Prince George’s County, was recognized by his students as being a great teacher, and received the Phillip Merrill Presidential Scholars Program Teacher Mentor  2013-2014 award in his name with a scholarship awarded to a former student.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd. Bowie, Maryland 20715.  Funeral will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 9:00 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Main St. Plains, PA 18705, with a  Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am, at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road Plains, PA 18705. Friends and family may call Saturday morning from 8:00 am till 9:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc.  Interment will be held in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bear Creek.
