Following an extended illness, Joan Nocera, 88, of Plains, PA passed away at Allied Hospice on Thursday, April 21, 2022.

She was the daughter of the late Peter and Ruth (Lynch) Rovinski.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, in 2009, and sister, Mar Kay Zluky, in 2013.

Joan enjoyed connecting with people, and she worked for many years by her husband’s side in their family jewelry business in Exeter. Her numerous talents, good humor, and graciousness will be missed by the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her daughter, Mar Kay Nocera; her niece and “second daughter”, Jennifer Fritz; and brother-in-law, Steven Zluky, whose kindness will never be forgotten.

Funeral services were private from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.
