Jean A. McGrady, 87, of Hanover Township, passed away Thursday evening, January 18, 2018 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital with her family by her side.

Born in the Newtown section of Hanover Township, Jean was the daughter of the late George and Edith (Norton) Schuler.

Jean was a graduate of Hanover Memorial High School, Class of 1948 and was a homemaker all her life. She was an avid bowler with the Colorettes, and enjoyed going to Las Vegas and Atlantic City with her husband Eugene. She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Wilkes-Barre.

Preceding her in death was her Husband Eugene A. McGrady, Sr. on March 18, 2005, grandson Frank Pisonick, Jr. in 1976, and great-grandson Asher Joseph; Brother, George Schuler, Sisters Gertrude Zini, Betty McGrady and Infant Sister, Dorothy.

Surviving are her daughter Eileen Pisonick and fiancée Rick Emery, Wilkes-Barre, sons, Richard, Wilkes-Barre, Ronald and his wife Pamela, Eugene, Jr. and his wife Cindy, and Shawn and his wife Janelle, all of Hanover Township, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, Sister, Mary Williams, Easton, Nephews, Nieces and Cousins.

Funeral will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 9:15 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 South Main Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, 143 West Division Street Wilkes-Barre, PA 18706 with Father Richard Cirba, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
