Falchek, 73 of Plains Township, passed away Monday morning, December 14, 2020 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, from complications due to COVID-19. Born in Trucksville, Jackie was the daughter of the late Michael and Rosemary (Connolly) Stanley. Jackie was a graduate of Dallas High School, Class of 1965, and Wilkes-Barre Business College. Before her retirement to become a full-time homemaker, she was employed at Beneficial Finance and as a legal secretary at Hourigan, Kluger, and Quinn Law Offices. She was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Plains. She loved spending time with her lifelong friends, whether out for dinner dates or catching up with “The Blanchard Street Ladies Who Lunch.” Although her greatest role was being the matriarch of the Falchek Family. Jackie loved swimming and attending family cookouts. She enjoyed road trips to Delaware to visit her daughter and her family. She was an avid local sports fan, cheering on her grandchildren at all of their sporting events. Jackie looked forward to her annual family vacations to Lake Wallenpaupack where she was able to do the thing she enjoyed the most, taking care of her whole family and having them all under one roof again. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph M. Falchek, on January 20, 2013. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Joseph C. Falchek, her children, Jennifer Falchek and her fiancé, Richard Joseph, Plains, Jeffrey Falchek and his wife, Meredith, Kingston, and Janeen McKenna and her husband John, Middletown, DE, grandchildren, Jeffrey and Riley Falchek, and Jacqueline and Jason McKenna, and a sister, Judy Viglone, and her husband, Ronald, of Shavertown, and many nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.Jacqueline M. Falchek (Stanley)
