Holly A. St. Clair, 24, a graduate student at Shippensburg University, passed away suddenly Friday, May 5, 2017 from complications of diabetes.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of Andrew and Laura (Stanski) St. Clair, Plains.

Holly was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 2011 where she was a member of the Drama Club, Coughlin Marching Band, Luzerne County Honors Band, PMEA District Band, Spanish Club and The National Honor Society. She was a graduate of Kutztown University, Class of 2015 with a dual major, earning a B.S. in Environmental Science and a B.S. in Geology. While at Kutztown, she was a member of the Geology Club. Holly was currently a graduate student at Shippensburg University working toward her M.S. in Geoenvironmental Studies.

Holly lived life to its fullest. She was not afraid to go out on her own and try new things. In her short time she was able to travel to many different states and countries, making friends along the way. She was a gentle, caring, happy person that was always willing to help in any way she could. She was a talented artist and would spend many hours drawing her favorite things. She loved all animals and could not wait to come home to see her pets.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Jean Elaine St. Clair, maternal grandfather Chester Stanski, and her cousin D.J. Farrar.

Surviving in addition to her parents Andrew and Laura, are her brothers Andrew St. Clair, Jr., and his fiancée Kati Sudnick, Pittsburgh, and Luke St. Clair, at home, Paternal grandfather William St. Clair, maternal grandmother Marie Stanski, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Holly’s Life will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with Pastor Karl Peterson, Parker Hill Church, Wilkes-Barre Campus, officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
