Henry Goldowski, 85 of West Pittston, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 7, 2022 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre and raised in Plains Township, he was the son of the late George and Helen (Polinchak) Moses.

Hank was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1955. He worked most of his life at the family business, Mozip Sign Company. He and his wife later managed The Lake Harmony Inn in the Poconos. Upon retiring, Hank and Ceil relocated to Lehigh Acres in Fort Myers, Florida, living their dream on the Florida golf course. Just a few years ago, they returned home to Pennsylvania to their families.

Hank is survived by his wife of 35 years, the former Celia Ragantesi, West Pittston, children David and Henry Goldowski, and Denise Gillis, all of Plains, brothers George Moses and his wife Angela, Forty Fort, and John Moses and his wife Jean, Larksville, sisters Rhoda Ann Moses and Donna Yefko, both of Plains, several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Hank’s Life will be held at a later date from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Hank’s memory.
