Henrietta Fagula, 85 of the Hudson section of Plains Township, passed away Friday afternoon, July 15, 2016 at her home.

Born in the Hudson section of Plains, she was the daughter of the Benjamin and Louise (Petroski) Broski.

Henrietta was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1949, and was employed in the garment industry for Fifi Frocks, Engle’s Factory, and May’s Dress Shop until her retirement.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Hudson, until its closure and merger. Following the consolidation of her church, she became a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Plains.  Henrietta was a Charter Member of the Plains Women’s Club and volunteered for 22 years at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Virginia Demesh and Helen Kisielewski.

Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Thomas G. Fagula, nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 9:30 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street  Plains, PA  18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:0 am in SS. Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road Plains, PA  18705, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating.  Entombment will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton section of Wyoming.

Friends and family may call Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  The Plains Lions Club will meet at 7:00 pm at the funeral home to pay their respects.

Memorial donations may be made to the Medical Oncology Prescription Assistance Fund,  382 Pierce Street, Kingston, PA 18704, or to the SS. Peter & Paul Church Food Pantry, 13 Hudson Road  Plains, PA  18705.
