George J. Bauer, II, 74 of Plains Township and formerly of New York City, passed away Friday morning, January 19, 2018 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains.

Born in New York City, he was the son of the late George J. and Elizabeth (Sharkney) Bauer, Sr.

George was a graduate of St. Helena’s High School, Bronx, NY, and was employed as a computer technician for ANACOMP of New York City, until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his don Thomas Bauer on August 21, 2017, sister Sherrill Lynn Wagner Eastwood, brother Philip Bauer and nephew Joseph Bauer.

Surviving are his wife Tomra Rose (Pucilowski) Bauer, daughter Marybeth Bauer, and granddaughter Peyton Van Orden, all of Plains, brother Stephen Bauer, Middletown, NY, nieces and nephews.
