Frank J. Mascioni, 67 of Jenkins Township, passed away Thursday evening, July 20, 2017 at his home after a four year battle against Pancreatic Cancer.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Franceso & Stella (Yarosavich) Mascioni.

Frank was a graduate of Elmer L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed by UGI for 39 years, until his retirement.

He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston, a 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus, President John F. Kennedy Council 372, Pittston, Sergeant-At-Arms of the Local 406 Union, and was a member of the Jenkins Township Sewer Authority.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Linda (Migliore) Mascioni on October 18, 1988, and his sister Veronica Mascioni.

Surviving are his wife of 11 years the former Loretta Young, daughters Melissa Ford and her husband Rob, Poplar Grove, Ill., and Tanya Gelb and her husband Charley, Camp Hill, PA, grandchildren Kaylee, Emma, and J.J. Ford, Kayden and Brady Gelb, brother Greg Mascioni, Jenkins Township.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 9:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston, PA 18640, with Father Joseph Elston, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in St. Rocco’s Cemetery, Pittston Township. Family and friends may call Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
