Ernest H. Spencer, Jr, 62, formerly of East End Towers, passed away Monday morning, January 23, 2017 at Highland Manor Nursing Center, Exeter, with his family by his side.

Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Gilbride), Sr.

Ernest was employed for Sears Automotive Center, Wyoming Valley Mall as a Master Mechanic.

He had a Heart of Gold and would do anything for anybody, and had an impact on everyone that knew him.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Brother Robert Spencer.

Surviving is the mother of his children Debbie Kotulski, Wilkes-Barre; Daughters, Candice Warnagiris and her husband George, Plains, Brenda Keblish and her husband Eric, Wilkes-Barre, Debi Spencer and her Fiancée, Brad Montgomery, Avoca and Ashlee Gibbons and her husband Brian, Dallas; Grandchildren, Destiny, Erycka, Arianna and Brad “The Moose”; Sister, Patricia Peters and her husband Clifford, Hanover, Nephews and Nieces for whom he cherished.

Ernest’s family would like to thank the residents and the office staff at East End Towers and the staff at Highland Manor for their Care and Friendship.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday evening, January 25, 2017 at 8:00 pm at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains. Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
