Ernest C. Gustinucci, 94 of the Keystone section of Plains, passed away Monday morning, February 22, 2021 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains, PA.

Born in Keystone, he was the son of the late Eugene and Elizabeth (Passeri) Gustinucci.

Ernest attended Plains Memorial High School and was an Army Veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater, attaining the rank of Tech 5th Grade.

Upon his honorable discharge from active duty he was employed as the superintendent at #1 Contracting Corporation, Pittston, for 42 years until his retirement.

He was a founding member of the Keystone Conservation Club, Starrucca, PA and the Perugia Beneficial Society, Keystone.

He was preceded in death by his wife the former Gilda Fabbrini on August 11, 2020, brother Joseph Gustinucci, sisters Vilma Fabbrini and Jennie Georgetti.

Surviving are his sons Ernest Gustinucci, Gibson, PA, Dennis Gustinucci and his wife Carol, and Lee Gustinucci and his wife Mary, all of Bear Creek, Grandchildren Lee, Ryan, Amanda, Ernest, David, William, and Stacey, Great-Grandchildren Kayden, Elizabeth, Lindsey, Joey, and Avery, nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
