Elizabeth Thomas, 85, of Plains Township, passed away Thursday morning, April 29, 2021, at Birchwood HRC, Nanticoke, PA.

Born in Plains, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Artim) Labuda. Elizabeth was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, was employed as a Secretary at American Auto in the late 1950’s, and was a homemaker most of her life.

Elizabeth was a wonderful Wife and Grandmother, who loved to bake and give to others. She dedicated herself to people and animals all around her.

Preceded in death by her Daughter Rebecca Buzzinski, who passed away in September of 2012 and Sister, Mary Venturi.

Surviving are her Husband of 65 years John W. Thomas, Plains, Son John A. Thomas and Wife Deborah, Pringle; Grandchildren Aaron Buzzinski, John Thomas, Jr., and Brianna Thomas; Great-Grandchildren Lucas Thomas and Ethan Ziller.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
