Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time. I met Betty Jane many years ago when we lived in Garfield, NJ and became friends. Fly high. Your a beautiful angel God loaned us. You will be dearly missed. Growing up I would always looked forward to running up the road and through the yard to hang out with Patty and Charles. And spending time around Mrs.West she would always have something funny to say and make me laugh. I loved her drive to be the best firefighter. I remember her coming to do a display in all the fire gear for my school. I loved it so much that I wanted to join but my fear kept me back. I remember the summer with the door always open come talk anytime about anything. She was like a part of my family. I was so blessed to have had the time I had with her and will always carry with me in my heart. R.I.P
