Edward W. Patterson

Edward W. Patterson Jr., age 73, passed away quietly on July 1, 2024 at the VA Medical Center, Plains Township, PA after his battle with cancer.

He was born August 9, 1950 and raised in Philadelphia, PA by his late parents Edward W. and Camilla (DiToro) Patterson, Sr.

After attending Overbrook High School he enlisted in the United States Army where he honorably served our country, earning National Defense Service and Vietnam Service medals. He married the former Frances Ann Moore on January 25, 1992.

Ed was a former DJ and Professional Elite Driver at Fort Dix, SEPTA, Nardone Bro’s Pizza and recently retired from J.B. Hunt. He was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan who enjoyed motorcycles, Italian food, visits to Wildwood NJ, bringing his best fur friend Zoey her favorite treats and sharing his cheese with her and spending as much time as possible with family and good friends. He is leaving behind a legacy of fierce love, kindness and many happy memories.

Ed is survived by his devoted loving wife of 32 years Frances Moore Patterson; his sister Nancy and husband Barry Bragin; step-son Neil Salmonsen and his wife Melissa, step-daughter Lisa Darmon and her husband Fred, nephews Zachary and Alexander Bragin, whom he was very proud of, grandchildren Mackenzie, Emily and Abigail Salmonsen, Henri, Eden, Jacque and Mayan Darmon all whom he was proud of, loved endlessly and wanted to tell everyone about, along with a multitude of well- loved cousins, in-laws and friends.
