Earl D. Bisbing Sr, 93, of Exeter, passed away Saturday December 30, 2017, with his family by his side.

Born in Coxton, he was the son of the late Howard and Ida May (Knecht) Bisbing.

Earl attended Duryea High School and was a proud Marine Corps Veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theatre and earning the rank of corporal. He was employed as a conductor and yardman for the railroads at Coxton Yards and later as Superintendent for Metropolitan Wire until his retirement.

Earl was a member of the Firwood United Methodist Church and the Disable American Veterans.

He is preceded in death by his Wife Emma Mae Bisbing on May 12, 2015, and sons; Earl D. Bisbing Jr. and Charles Bisbing and granddaughter Amy Bisbing. Earl was the youngest of 13 siblings, all who preceded him in death.

Surviving are his Son Glenn Bisbing and his wife Beverly, Cocoa, Florida, Daughters-in-law Patricia Bisbing, Swoyersville and Beth Bisbing, Kingston, 10 grandchildren, 10 Greatgrandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services with Military Honors accorded by the United States Marine Corps will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, Pa., 18705. Private interment will be held in Mountain View Burial Park, Route 92, Harding. Family and friends may call from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
