Dr. Czwalina was truly one of a kind. Being from out of town I drove to Wilkes Barre to spend some vacation time with my sister. Shortly after my arrival my then 10 year old son had a minor medical issue with his foot. My sister called Dr. Czwalina to see if he could take a look. Dr. Czwalina fit my son in that day, diagnosed the condition, and corrected it so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation. Since I was from out of town my insurance wouldn’t cover the visit so Dr. Czwalina said there would be no charge and asked that we just enjoy our stay. This kind hearted doctor left quite the impression on us.

Dr. Czwalina, will be missed by my husband Ted and myself. He was compassionate and so caring. Ted was a patient of his for close to 40 years and when I moved here after our wedding, I became one of his patients for 34 years until his retirement. After an appointment in 2003, Dr. Czwalina, was quick to diagnose Ted with pancreatic cancer, put us in touch a great surgeon, oncologist and radiologist and because of this Ted is a pancreatic survivor for 18 years. He was a wonderful physician. Dr. Czwalina will be missed.
