Dorothy A. Giuli, 95 of Plains Township, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, October 23, 2018 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Gryniewicz) Wielkewicz.

Dorothy was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, and was employed as a seamstress in the area garment industry. She was a member of St. Andre Bessette Parish, North Wilkes-Barre.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Natalie “Nat” Giuli on March 22, 2014, son Thomas Giuli on December 27, 1966, son-in-law John Radice on June 12, 2011, granddaughter-in-law Amy Jenks Radice on November 14, 2014, sisters Agnes Zawatski and Sophie Arasim, brothers Joseph Katinski, and Frank Wielkewicz.

Surviving are her daughter Carol Radice, Binghamton, NY, grandson John Radice, Binghamton, NY, and Jason Radice, Annapolis, MD, nieces and nephews, and loving neighbors and friends Louise Yanoshak, Thomas and Sharon Tobin.

Funeral will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 9:30 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Andre Bessette Parish, 668 North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705, with Father Kenneth Seegar, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Plains.

Friends may call Friday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the Plains Ambulance Association, 90 Maffett Street, Plains, PA 18705.
