Donna M. Zabresky, 68 of Ashley, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 5, 2020 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Bertha S. (Shigo) Sharkness.

Donna was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a Registered Nurse, worked as an Operating Room Technician at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, and was owner/operator of her own nail salon, Blooming Nails in Forty Fort.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Laurie Zabresky-Kay, infant brothers John Sharkness, Jr., and John Sharkness, III.

Surviving are her son Michael Zabresky, Jr., and his wife Courtney, Bear Creek, grandchildren Austin and Keely Zabresky, sisters Gail Sharkness, Wilkes-Barre, and Elaine Kenzakoski and her husband James, Bear Creek.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.
