Obituaries » Dianne Hall April 5, 1936 - March 15, 2015 Service Date: March 18, 2015 Funeral Home Corcoran Funeral Home Inc Cemetery Chapel Lawn Memorial Park Church St. Therese s Church Dianne Hall, 78 of Dallas, passed away Sunday evening, March 15, 2015 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Shavertown, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (O’Brien) Dobinick. Dianne was a graduate of Westmoreland High School, Trucksville, and was employed as an Aide by Valley Crest Nursing Home, Plains, Twp., until her retirement. She was a member of St. Therese’s Church, Shavertown. Dianne was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Dobinick, sisters Alice Williams and Dorothy Flick. Surviving are her daughters Sandra Shaver and her husband Pern, Lumberton, North Carolina, Donna Casey and her husband Shawn, Linda Somoga and her husband Michael, all of Dallas, and Tracy Hall, Marlton, New Jersey, son Robert Sax and his wife Sherry, Plains, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sister Kathy Kazimer, Florida, several nieces and nephews. Dianne’s family would like to sincerely thank the staff at The Village At Greenbriar, the wonderful nurses at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, and Dr. Edward Carey and his staff for the wonderful care of their mother. Funeral will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 9:15 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, PA 18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Therese’s Church, Shavertown, with Father James J. Paisley, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Memorial Highway, Dallas. Friends may call Tuesday evening, March 17, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. The Plains Lions Club will meet Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm to pay their respects to the family.
