David W. Kelley, Sr., 69 of the Hudson section of Plains Township, passed away Friday evening, December 31, 2021 at Cambridge Riverview, Larksville, PA.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late William and Edna Mae (Burridge) Kelley.

David fought a long battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. He worked at Techneglas for 35 years until his retirement at the age of 55. David was an avid Fly Fisherman, loving the rivers and creeks of Pennsylvania. He loved hunting and fishing with his son David Jr. for many years. He also loved spending time with his two grandchildren, Brandon and Brooke.

David just celebrated his 51st wedding Anniversary with his wife Carol, who never left his side and was his true angel throughout this terrible disease. They enjoyed going for long rides looking for deer, getting a coffee on the road and mostly spending time together.

He was preceded in death by his brother John Kelley, and his sister Edna Kelley.

Surviving are his wife the former Carol Ferenchick, Hudson, son David Kelley, Jr. and his wife Wendy, Laflin, grandchildren Brandon and Brooke Kelley, Laflin, sister Alberta Knapik, Jacksonville, FL, and brother William Kelley, Ashley.
