David J. Minnick, 62 of Plains Township, passed away Tuesday evening, September 28, 2021 at his home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late George and Anna (Gomba) Minnick.

Dave was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was an U.S. Army Veteran.  He was employed as a truck driver until his retirement.  Dave was an avid fisherman, gardener and was a workaholic.

He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Minnick, sisters Carol Long and Barbara Czekalski.

Surviving are his daughter Helen Minnick, Ashley, sister Dianne Janiszewski, Plains, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services with Military Honors accorded by the United States Army will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA  18705.
