Darryl Irving Kemp, 23, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday May 10, 2017.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of Wesley Kemp Jr. of Noxen and Aida Encarnacion of Puerto Rico and Step-Mother Nina Kemp.

Darryl was a graduate of Elmer L. Meyers High School Wilkes-Barre, class of 2011 and was employed in the construction field.

Surviving in addition to his Parents and Step-Mother are his Brothers, Justin Kemp, Stevensville, and Aidan Encarnacion, Puerto Rico, Sister Chelsea Encarnacion, Puerto Rico, Grandparents Carlos and Magaly Encarnacion, Puerto Rico.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc. 20 South Main Street Plains, with Rev. Dr. Paul Amara, Pastor of Plains United Methodist Church, officiating.

Family and friends may call Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the Funeral Home.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations if desired be made to one’s choice in Darryl’s memory in remembrance of his love of Children and Animals.
