Constance M. Clemons, 75 of Plains Township, passed away Thursday morning, August 12, 2021 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains, with her nieces Linda Kurkoski and Connie Saracino at her side.

Born in Plains, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lottie (Murawski) Clemons, Sr.

Connie was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School, Class of 1964 and was employed at the Plains Silk Mill.  Connie was also a caretaker, always there for her entire family.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Plains, until its closure and merger with Saints Peter & Paul Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Joan Clemons, and brothers Matthew and Lawrence Clemons, Jr.

Surviving are her sisters Ann Clemons, with whom she resided, Catherine Olowiany, Courtdale, Christine Kasper, and Rosemary Burdulis and her husband Thomas, all of Plymouth, many nieces and nephews, and her furry best friend, Pumpkin.

Connie’s family would like to thank the staff of Geisinger Wyoming Valley, ICU, especially Donna and Jay for the wonderful care given to their sister and aunt.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 9:30 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA  18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating.  Interment will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains.  Family and friends may call Tuesday morning from 8:30 am until 9:30 am at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702, in Connie’s name.
