Carol Ann Mimnaugh 82 of Plains Township, passed away Saturday morning, October 27, 2018 at Manor Care Nursing Home, Kingston.

Born in Larchmont, New York, she was the daughter of the Eugene and Kathryn (Dann) McLoughlin.

Carol was a graduate of Resurrection Academy, Rye, New York, and was employed as a Certified Addictions Counselor at First Hospital, until her retirement. She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin, and was a 35 year friend of Bill W. Carol was a novice for 2 years in the Dominican Order. Her faith eventually led her to leave the convent before her vows, and have a beautiful family.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Mimnaugh on June 3, 2008, son William Mimnaugh, infant daughter Carol Ann Mimnaugh, grandson Sean Quinn, brothers Eugene & James McLoughlin, and sister Mary Ellen Fitzharris.

Surviving are his children Kathleen Stetler and her husband Mark, John Mimnaugh, Erin Quinn and her husband Dave, Sharon Poray and her husband Bill, Mary McNulty and her husband Brian, Daniel Mimnaugh and his wife Lisa, and Pam Korneluk, Grandchildren Shanna, Brian, Eric, and John Mimnaugh, John Tablizo, Jeremy & Grace Mimnaugh, John and Jamie Lawrence, Danielle Stetler, Daniel, Jessica and Connor Quinn, Kelly, Kyle, William, and Molly Poray, Brian, Kevin, and Corey McNulty, Madison and Grace Mimnaugh, great-grandchildren Payton, Summer, Evie, Tianna, & Thea.

Carol’s family would like to offer a special Thank You to all of her friends and staff at The Village at Greenbriar, Manor Care, and Hospice of the Sacred Heart. All of you gave Carol, kindness, compassion and love.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:00 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive, Laflin, PA, with Father James Walsh, Pastor, officiating. The Parish Rosary Group will recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary in the Church ½ hour before the funeral mass. All are invited to join them. Interment will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton section of Wyoming. Family and friends may call Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
