I met your very gracious mother as a new member of the Meet Up group in North Carolina. She was welcoming, kind and a model of how women should lead their lives. You have my deepest sympathies. A donation has been made in her memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Dear Carol's Family, Please know you are held in my heart as you celebrate Carol's life. I had the privilege of working with her at Manchester Hospital in the operating room. She was a great nurse as well as friend, and a smart, fair leader. She was also instrumental in getting computerized charting and other details organized in a useful fashion. I remember her saying, when dreaming about operative speculums, it may be time to try something a little different! She hosted a baby shower for me too, and that baby is now 40. Kindnesses like this are long remembered. Having known Carol and Dan, we have been blessed and our lives enriched. We share this journey with you, in the Spirit of Faith, Hope, Love, and Peace, Barb Gelinas

How deeply saddened I was to learn of Carol’s passing. Such a vibrant and loving woman! I have wonderful memories of both Carol and Dan and the girls growing up at Lake Street School. in Vernon, CT. Carol inspired me to learn to quilt for which I am forever grateful. My sincere condolences to Leah, Jessica and the family.

Such great memories of both Carol and Dan. They opened up their family and their home to everyone to build the school playscape and on many Holidays for those of us who had no family in the area. Carol's sense of humor was so quick and dry. We all remember well the story about the squirrel that they hauled into the house in a Christmas tree one year. Carol was so proud of both Leah and Jess and her whole family. Thank you for sharing her with us all.
