Spagnuolo, 92, of Quakertown and formerly of Plains Township passed away Friday morning, October 27, 2017 at Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA Born in the Hudson section of Plains, he was the son of the late John and Antoinette (Merlino) Spagnuolo. Carl was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School and was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II, serving with the 462nd Army Air Forces Base Unit, attaining the rank of corporal. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, he was a member of the first graduating class of King’s College in 1950. Carl was employed as a school teacher for the Quakertown School District, retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Isadore’s Church, Quakertown. He was preceded in death by his Brothers Armand, Fred, John and infant brother Frank Spagnuolo and Sister Edith Pascucci. Surviving are wife of 62 years, the former Delphine Pascucci, Quakertown, daughter Antoinette Lochetto and her husband Joseph, Dresher, PA, son Carl Spagnuolo and his wife Jan, North Palm Beach, FL, grandchildren Amber Spagnuolo, Gina Milner & her husband Andy, Lauren Brimhall and her husband Sean, Jake and Jaden Thrift, 5 Great-grandchildren, Brother Frank Spagnuolo, Wilkes-Barre, several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc. 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Plains. Family and friends may call Tuesday morning from 10:30 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
