Bridget N. Komnath, 82 of Macungie, passed away Monday morning, March 7, 2022 at her home.

Born in Taylor, she was the daughter of the late James K. and Alice M. (Corcoran) Conway.

Bridget was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School, and earned her LPN from College Misericordia, Dallas. She was employed as a nurse at Irvington General Hospital, Irvington, NJ, and local nursing homes in the Lehigh Valley. She was a member of St. Ann’s Church, Emmaus, PA.

Bridget was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Eileen Williams and Alice Morrow, brothers James, William, Thomas, and Joseph Conway.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Edward Komnath, Macungie, daughters Karen Haldeman and her husband Kevin, Auburn, PA, and Mary Ellen Komnath, Alpine, AZ, grandchildren Konnor and Olivia Haldeman, sisters Julia Paralis and Irene Kelly, brothers John, Patrick and Michael Conway, many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Corpus Christi Parish/Immaculate Conception Church, 605 Luzerne Ave, West Pittston, PA 18643 with Monsignor John Sempa, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Byzantine Cemetery, Lake Street, Dallas. Friends and family may call Thursday morning from 9:00 am until the time of mass at Church. Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.
