Bonnie Mosley, 47 of Bear Creek Twp., passed away Friday afternoon, April 27, 2018 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after a courageous battle against Cancer.

Born in Pittston and raised in Plains Township, Bonnie was the daughter of Casimer and Barbara (Burgit) Rynkiewicz of Bear Creek Township.

Bonnie was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1988, and Wilkes University, Class of 1994, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She was employed at Blue Cross of Wilkes-Barre as a Data Analyst for 24 years, until her illness.

Bonnie was such a vibrant soul and had many passions. She loved being a mom and spent countless hours watching her beloved son, Parker, play a variety of sports. She was an incredibly talented artist and loved sharing her love of painting and crafting with friends and family. Shopping was one of her favorite past times and she could often be found hunting down bargains. Most of all, Bonnie loved taking long rides with her adoring family, usually ending up in Lancaster. Whether she was camping, hanging out at a ballgame, or spending a quiet night at home, she was a light that lit up the room. She cherished her family and wide network of friends, all of whom will miss her beautiful, welcoming, smile.

She was preceded in death by her son Thomas Casimer Mosley, and her sister Lori Ann Rynkiewicz.

Surviving in addition to her parents Casimer and Barbara, are her husband of 14 years, Thomas Mosley, Jr. and her son Parker Mosley, both of Bear Creek Township, her loving family and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Bonnie’s Life will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to a youth sport organization of the donor’s choice in Bonnie’s memory.
