Beverly J. Wychock, 90 of Plains Township, and formerly of the parsons section of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Sunday morning, May 1, 2022 at the home of her daughter Barbara.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Marion (Millar) Knelly.

Beverly was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, Class of 1950 and was a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of St. Andre Bessette Parish, North Wilkes-Barre.

Family was everything to Beverly and she loved spending time with her great-grandchildren Teyton and Addison Wychock.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert P. Wychock, Sr. on November 18, 2020, sisters Marion “Lois” Knelly and Caroline “Joan” Gruver, and her brother John “Jack” Knelly.

Surviving are her sons Robert Wychock, Jr., Plains, and David Wychock, Sr., and his wife Denise, Nanticoke, daughter Barbara Zabriski and her husband Paul, Plains, grandchildren Brenda, Hilary, David Jr., Marcus, and Kaila, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with Pastor Scott McGrady, her nephew, officiating. Interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
