Jones, née Hoffman, of Dallas, Pennsylvania, died Friday, April 28th, 2017. She was 90 years old. Beverly was born on Thanksgiving Day on November 25th, 1926 in Wilkes-Barre to William Hoffman and Jean Johnson (Hoffman). She wed Robert Jones on March 6th of 1948, to whom she was married for 43 years. Beverly graduated from James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre. She modeled for the Hollywood Shoppe in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and worked as an assistant to cardiologist Doctor Stevens for several years before she left to become a stay-at-home mother. Beverly was active in the Dallas PTA while her children were in school and was a member of Grace Community Church in Dallas, Pennsylvania. In addition to her husband and parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her sister, June Walker, and her brother William Hoffman. She is survived by her son Robert Jones Jr., Hampstead, NH; her daughter Valerie Cameron, Dallas, PA; her son Keith Jones, Dallas, PA; six grandchildren; sisters Caroline DeWitt, Austin, TX; Wilma Rheinhart, Pittsburgh, PA; Audrey Snyder, Chester, NJ; Mary Alice Hoffman (sister-in-law), Forty Fort, PA; her brother David Hoffman, Harvey’s Lake, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Beverly will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 10:30 am in Grace Community Church, 4122 Memorial Highway, Dallas, PA 18612, with Rev. Roland Preisler, Pastor, officiating. Family and friends may call Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am at church. Interment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Woodlawn Avenue, Dallas.
