Barbara M. Seprish, 80 of Jenkins Township, passed away Sunday evening, January 9, 2022 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Hanover Township, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Tomko) Slusarik.

Barbara was a graduate of Hanover Area High School, and was employed at RCA, later Harris Semi-Conductor, Mountain Top, for 25 years, until her retirement.

Barbara was active in her son’s life growing up, from her being a Den Mother at Troop 100, Plains, a member of the PTA at Saints Peter & Paul School, and loved to cook and shop. She and her husband Ed loved to travel extensively, from Canada to Florida, and everywhere in-between.

She was preceded in death by her brother Jack Slusarik.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Edward D. Seprish, sons Edward Seprish and his wife Charlene, Sweet Valley, and Michael Seprish and his wife Nancy, Scranton, grandchildren Elizabeth, Joshua, Zachary, Nicholas, Alex, and Christian, sister Peggy Humko, Plains, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, at 10:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Private inurnment will be held in the parish cemetery, Plains. Family and friends may call Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 am at church. Those attending the visitation and/or the funeral services, the family requests that facemasks be worn at all times, regardless of vaccination status. Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.

Memorial donations may be made to Saints Peter & Paul Church Food Pantry, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705, in Barbara’s memory.
