Dear Gerry – Dan and I were so sad to read about the passing of your lovely wife. We always loved seeing the photos of your family in your office and remember this one well. I had the pleasure of actually meeting her twice. (Once when I was volunteering at one of the BKM Library Auction booths and the 2nd time up at Barnes & Noble). Memories of the conversation I accidentally overheard between you and your wife at B&N always bring a smile to my face. Even though I was engrossed in what I was reading (and didn’t look up to see who was speaking), I remember thinking at the time that I had never heard such an interesting conversation in a bookstore ever before – and even more pleased when you said “hello” and I saw who it was! Brent and Barry – Dan and I are likewise sorry about the loss of your mom. (Brent – you may not remember me, but I was a patient of yours a long time ago when you were in Plains. BTW – that revision surgery you did on my foot has held up well)! Barry – my mom sends her condolences as well. Wish I could give you a hug in person when I see you in a few weeks – but I guess that will need to “keep” for now. May your memories of this special lady bring you all comfort at this sad time. Linda and Dan

I first meet Babetta when her brother John introduced us. She later after John passed away took over his property's. I found het to be a very lovely lady. I actually with Covid hadn't seen her since last year. I feel so sad that she lost her battle with cancer. I too am dealing with cancer I had a mascetamey in October 2019. I pray for her family & friends that they get the strength to go on. She may not be here in body but her spirit is with them always. Sincerely, Mary Ellen (Hoban) Krasniak.
