Obituaries » Anthony Magdalinski August 19, 1932 - February 9, 2015 Funeral Home Corcoran Funeral Home Inc Anthony “Tony” Magdalinski, 82 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Monday morning, February 9, 2015 at the inpatient unit of Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Born in Plains, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Kovalick) Magdalinski. Tony was a graduate of James M. Coughlin H.S. and King’s College, and was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his brothers Joe and Charles Magdalinski, sisters Eleanor Lynch, Marie MacDougall, Anne Marek, and Christine Piechota. Surviving are his wife the former Anna “Nancy” Amrick, sons Anthony Magdalinski and his wife Claudia, Blue Bell, PA, Stephen Magdalinski and his wife Dawn, Plains, and Charlie Magdalinski and his wife Kelly, Shavertown, daughters Ann Krogulski and her husband Ken, Shavertown, Joan Kucewicz, Phoenixville, PA, Sandy Boyle and her husband Patrick, Dallas, and Suzy Fitzpatrick and her husband John, Downingtown, PA, 20 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, brothers Frank Magdalinski and his wife Joan, Laflin and David Magdalinski and his wife Darlene, Shavertown, sisters Theresa Magdalinski, Florida, Rose Stegmuller and her husband Fred, Willingboro, NJ, Dorothy Corcoran and her husband Hugh, Jenkins Twp., and Bernadine Lizza and her husband Tony, Pittston, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street Plains, PA 18705.
