Anne Cierniakoski, 95, of St. Petersburgh, Florida and formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Bon Secours Maria Manor, St. Petersburgh, Florida.

Born in the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre, Anne was the daughter of the late John and Marianne Madura Schuster.

She was a Dress Shop Owner and worked in the area Garment Industry until her retirement. Anne was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church, Plains, and the I.L.G.W.U.

She was preceded in death by her Son Ronald Cierniakoski and Brothers; Adam, Leo, Walter and John Schuster; Sisters; Helen Shipula, Maryanne Cyrana, Lottie Kolessa, Dolores Passe, and Susan Mazzeo.

Surviving is her Husband of 69 years Henry Cierniakoski, St. Petersburgh, Florida, Sons, Henry Cierniakoski and his wife Carol, Wilkes-Barre and John Cierniakoski, St. Petersburgh, Florida, Grandsons, Henry, Gregory, Ronald and Robert Cierniakoski, Great-granddaughter, Lainee, Sisters, Antionette Sheldon, Dallas, and Louise Dennis, Wilkes-Barre, several nephews and nieces.

Funeral will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 9:00am from the Corcoran Funeral Home Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton section of Wyoming.
