Anna M. Wilk, 105 of Plains Township, passed away Monday afternoon, November 30, 2020 at the United Methodist Homes, Wesley Village Campus, Pittston, from complications of COVID-19.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Wasil and Tillie Gozick.

Anna was educated in city schools and was employed as a housekeeper until her retirement. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, North Wilkes-Barre, and currently a member of Saints Peter & Paul Church, Plains.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Wilk in 1961, her 12 siblings, Steven, John, Mike, Peter, Mary, George, Mary, Mike, Jay, Helen, Eva, and Paul.

Surviving are her son Joseph Wilk and his wife Margaret, Plains, numerous nieces and nephews.

Anna’s family would like to thank the nurses, aides, and doctors on the East Unit of Wesley Village and especially her special buddy Maryann B. for the wonderful care and compassion given to Anna the past 4 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 4, 2020, at 10:00 am at Saints Peter & Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705, with Father John C. Lambert, Pastor, officiating. Masks and/or face coverings are required at all times at church and/or cemetery and please practice social distancing while paying your respects. Private interment will be held in the St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery, Plains. Arrangements entrusted to the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wesley Village, Partridge-Tippet Nursing Facility, 209 Roberts Road, Pittston, PA 18640 or to Saints Peter & Paul Church Food Pantry, 13 Hudson Road, Plains, PA 18705 in Anna’s memory.
