Angela Azat, 63 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday morning, January 21, 2022 at her home.

Born January 18, 1959 in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late James & Geraldine (Jump) Azat.

Angela was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed at Little Flower Manor, currently Allied Services Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre, in the laundry for many years, retiring in 2021. She was a member of St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Church, Wilkes-Barre, where she served as a Eucharist Minister.

She was preceded in death by her brother James Azat.

Surviving are her nephew, great-niece and nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 9:30 am at St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Church, 134 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery, Hanover Township. Family and friends may call Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 am at church. Those attending the visitation and/or the funeral services, the family requests that facemasks be worn at all times, regardless of vaccination status.
