Allbless, 32 of Downingtown, PA and formerly of Shavertown, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 24, 2018 at Neighborhood Health Inpatient Hospice, West Chester, after a courageous battle against Cancer. Born in Shavertown, she was the daughter of Homi R. and Christine (Stock) Allbless of Shavertown. Amy was a graduate of Dallas High School, Class of 2004. She attended West Chester University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Marywood University with her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. While at Marywood University, she was a member of Chi Sigma Iota (Counseling, Academic, and Professional Honors Society International). She was a gifted artist who loved the outdoors. She enjoyed live music & spending time with friends & family. She loved to laugh & had a wonderful sense of humor. She made friends effortlessly & it is a testament to her character that they never strayed. Amy was wise beyond her years & was always the “voice of reason”. She gave compliments with ease & made whoever she was near feel good about themselves. Even in her final days she had a selfless shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, and always a kind & encouraging word for those that needed it. She will be deeply missed by each & every person that had the privilege to have her in their life no matter how long or short that time was. We would like to extend our most heartfelt appreciation to all the family, friends, & caregivers that gave their love & support during Amy’s time of need.
