Adam Joseph “A.J.” Stanislowski, 27 of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 1, 2016.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Adam J. Stanislowski, Sr. of Wilkes-Barre, Karen (Dering) Stanislowski of Hunlock Creek, and the step-son of Shannon McNew, of Wilkes-Barre.

A.J. attended James M. Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed by Slocomb Windows of Wilkes-Barre. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping and enjoyed wood working. A.J. was a loving and caring person who enjoyed helping others and would give you the shirt off of his back.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Adam and Isabelle Stanislowski and his maternal grandparents Jerome and Ann Dering.

Surviving in addition to his parents Adam, Shannon, and Karen are his daughter Addison June Stanislowski and her mother Kasey Cooper, Edwardsville, Brother Justin Stanislowski, step-sisters Erin McNew and Katie Gyle, and step-grandmother Debbie Gyle, all of Wilkes-Barre, Uncle Tom Cusick, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Funeral Services for A.J. will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Corcoran Funeral Home, Inc., 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, with Deacon Donald Crane, officiating. Interment will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton section of Wyoming. Friends and family may call Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
